Error Code 193

Error Code 193: BAD RATE SETTING FOR ELECTRONIC JOURNAL FAILED

Resolution:

1. Inspect the Electronic Journal to make sure it is the correct part number.

2. Power down the ATM in the proper sequence. From the Main Menu screen, select System Parameters (5) followed by Shut Down the Terminal (4). When the indication that it is safe to turn off the terminal is displayed on the screen push the Power ON/OFF switch to the OFF position. After about ten seconds, push the Power ON/OFF switch to the ON position to start the terminal.

3. If the error persists, replace the Electronic Journal.

 

Error Code 192

Error Code 192: COMMUNICATION ERROR

Resolution: 

1. Enter the Management Functions and verify that all terminal parameters have been entered correctly.

2. Verify that the telephone line is operational.

3. Power down the ATM in the proper sequence. From the Main Menu screen, select System Parameters (5) followed by Shut Down the Terminal (4). When the indication that it is safe to turn off the terminal is displayed on the screen push the Power ON/OFF switch to the OFF position. After about ten seconds, push the Power ON/OFF switch to the ON position to start the terminal.

4. If the error persists, possible causes may be the modem or main board assembly.

Error Code 190

Error Code 190: PIN MASTER KEY NOT CONFIGURED

Resolution:

Enter the Management Functions and configure the "PIN master key."

Error Code 189

Error Code 189: TERMINAL ID NOT CONFIGURED

Resolution:

Enter the Management Functions and configure the "terminal ID" number.
