Error Code 36: MISTRACKED NOTE AT EXIT
Resolution:
1. Verify that the diverter moves freely and is not binding. If the diverter has excessive binding or appears damaged, replace the dispenser.
2. Inspect the exit area to ensure nothing is blocking the exit sensor. Clean and verify the operation of the exit sensor. Replace the exit sensor if defective. Otherwise, replace the dispenser.
3. Power down the ATM in the proper sequence. From the Main Menu screen, select System Parameters (5) followed by Shut Down the Terminal (4). When the indication that it is safe to turn off the terminal is displayed on the screen push the Power ON/OFF switch to the OFF position. After about ten seconds, push the Power ON/OFF switch to the ON position to start the terminal.
4. Clear all errors and test the dispenser with a live transaction. If the status clears, place the ATM in service. Otherwise, replace the dispenser.
